I've just started listing with Auctiva...awesome so far. Came to this Forum to immediately find out how to add my Store categories to the listing form. Thanks!

I opted out of Auctiva shipping insurance, and entered my postal insurance in my Shipping Profiles.

Now I just noticed that all my ebay listings show International insurance offered...it's supposed to be Domestic only. I don't see how to separate them in Auctiva.

Any tips?

Thanks!

hi toocoolcats,

when you are creating your listing....click on the shipping section and choose your options there...whether you want domestic or international shipping and insurance and so on. make sure you don't have any shipping options selected for international shipping and when the listing posts live to feebay, the international insurance section will default to "not available" or "not offered" or some wording like that.

if you DO choose international shipping, but just don't want to insure them, make sure you de-select any insurance options...computers can be quirky sometimes and prefill stuff without you realizing it sometimes.

also, do you use profiles when creating your listings? if so, how are your sections set up in your "master profile"?

just a final thought, any reason WHY you don't want to offer the insurance? you have an opportunity to make a bit of money when you do. it's not a lot, but it's better than nothing....AND...the claim process is soooooo much easier than having to hassle with the usps folks and U-Pic is faster (for the most part) at handling claims and REFUNDING you the money!

After using the insurance, i will NEVER go back to usps....I try to avoid interacting with the post office as much as possible because their service frankly stinks!

Hope some/any of that helped....good luck!

cheers,
