I cant answer whose problem it was! BUT in my listings on E-bay I had one item show up, yet in my Auctiva Store there were 2 of the same item.
I didnt double-post it and it was a new auction started here in Auctiva.
It was not a Relist from Ebay or a Relist from Auctiva.
I just thank goodness it didnt show up in Ebay like that, so i didnt worry too much about trying to get the second item out of the Auctiva Store.

I'm having the same or a similar problem. I listed one item last night that I revised after scheduling it. It is now showing as two listings with the same number in my "active listings" on Auctiva and in my list of items when the buyer wants to see all my listing through the Auctiva link. There is only one item number and eBay only sent me one new item listing email. I don't know what to do about this. Thanks for any help.
I find that this happens quite regularly to me.. I know longer worry about it.. As long as it has only listed once on ebay, that is all I am concerned about. What I do is to go to the Auctiva website, click on the Store tab, select edit items, then if I see two of the same, I click on the box next to one of them to select it and hide item. Then only one of them will show up when people search your store. You just need to make sure that both item numbers are the same. It will not affect the active listing you have on ebay, it's just a double up that shows up in Auctiva.
