Hi all,
Does Auctiva offer a way to offer calculated shipping for one item that has a different weight if sent USPS Parcel Post or Priority Mail?
The example is, I want to sell a pair of pants.
Using a Tyvec envelope, the pants weigh 1# 14 oz.
Using a Priority box, the pants + box weigh 2# 6 oz. If I set the weight to be 2# 6 oz., the auction will calculate the Parcel Post shipping too high.
I'm wondering if I am missing something in the template.
Thanks for any help!

No, I don't think you're missing anything.

I do have a possible (a potentially better) work-around. Try using the standard Calc method with the Parcel Post and the Priority Flat Rate Box ($9.80) for Priority (it's on the list). On the Priority Zone table, 3 lbs. is $5.20 - $11.50, so you're in the middle. The boxes are FREE too. Big Grin

Also, I don't think USPS will reject the Tyvek envelopes for Priority. That should work OK for both. I've even had rolls of bubble-wrap shipped to me Priority with some simple shrink-wrap for enclosing.

Edit: Does this give you any ideas (for Free)?
