"eBay Adopts Electronic-Only Checkout"

So..where does that leave Auctiva? Especially for those who do not have "merchant accounts"? It seems the part time and small sellers are being forced elsewhere. I would still love to be able to use Auctiva, but just not with ebay.

iT IS iLLEGAL AND AGAINST THE LAW TO NOT ACCEPT ALL METHODS OF CURRENCY, EBAY WILL HAVE TO ANSWER TO THE LAW ON THAT ONE, AND THEY WILL LOSE ALOT PEOPLE AND HAVE A LOT OF LAWSUITS.

This isn't about trust and safety. This is about double dipping the fees from us by using paypal. With Checks & MOs there are no paypal fees. I am guessing there is more than meets the eye w/ProPay. Ultimately there are ALOT of customers that don't trust the electronic payment methods and they are just going to take their business elsewhere. We foot the bill for lost customers by paying more paypal fees now. Greedy B.......!

In Australia, many sellers and organisations banded together to defeat eBay's proposal of Paypal only payments.
