eBay/Auctiva checkout not linking to PayPal

I'm trying to pay for several eBay items from the one seller. They sent me an invoice, and they use Auctiva checkout. The eBay to Auctiva link is fine, you go through the various screens confirming your address etc. But in the last step, when Auctiva is meant to handover to PayPal so you can actually complete payment, the process falls over. I get a PayPal screen saying 'Transaction cancelled. This function is temporarily unavailable. Please try your payment again later by returning to eBay and clicking the My eBay button.'

I'm not sure it's PayPal that's at fault...I tried to pay for another item from Etsy using PayPal. I can get to the PayPal screen just fine there. I just can't get to it through eBay/Auctiva checkout.

This is occurring Sat 11:43pm AEDST (Australian time). Anyone else having similar issues?
