Ebay Australia.

I'm not entirely sure. We are gauging interest to see if we'd get enough new/active users to warrent adding and maintaining that site. In a couple of weeks we'll be back to updating the site so maybe we can get a better anwser then.

Until then, if you have lots of friends who want this functionality as well have them speak up.

Hi fellow aussies!! I just joined up with Auctiva today, not realising I couldn't use their lister!! Boohoo...so disappointed. However Auctiva has placed their moving picture show thingy with all my items into my aussie site. Problem being that when a guest clicks on an item, it opens up on ebay usa!! If they bid there, what happens?????
Please Auctiva...let us use your listers etc. I'm sick of paying huge ebay fees.

Hi all, I joined Auctiva over a year ago now and asked the same question - still waiting. Surely there are enough Aussies to warrant consideration now nearly every second listing on Ebay.com.au has the Auctiva preview showcases displayed on their listing. How many Aust members would they need to get this up and running.

I'm, also from Australia and I've just signed up with Auctiva, not realizing that I can't list on ebay Australia. Do you have a date for when it will be up and running? So many people would use it!!!

Put me on the list. Very interesting about the links going eBay US, I had no idea until now. Funnily enough I didn't see that downside mentioned at all in the eBay Oz powerseller discussion boards, a lot of other points were made about the pros & cons but no mention of that....likely to put a few people off I'd think. i would definatly want to be able to post to ALL ebay internation sites, including australia, ireland, canada, etc. I would even pay a flat rate monthly fee to do so...

Last night I signed up and became a member only to find that I cannot list on ebay Australia WHY? I was sooo disappointed....I have only been selling to Australia... When will this feature be available?

I have a question. If you list on eBay.com does the Australian site import those listings? Or is it that the casual browser has to do something differently to see listings from the US?

I haven't quite got a handle on all of that but I was thinking that listings for English-speaking countries (native language, I mean) showed up on eBay.com as well as the Australian and UK sites. No?

I am also a newbie to Auctiva, and didn't realize I couldn't list to Australian ebay until after I had done hours of work preparing my listings.

I want to list on Australian ebay. You do have a great site... but it is geared to American users... I want an Auctiva site that understands my requirements as an Australian ebay user.

I feel so stupid! I thought I could use this service on Australian Ebay. How come there are other Aussie Ebayers using it weekly? As soon as my auction ended that was it... no hope of using it again. Back to TurboListing... how boring.

This trail seems to have gone cold but it should be kept alive - Australian eBay users would use Auctiva. Like others I am fed up with the dull templates available in Turbo Lister (and the clunky user interface). So how about an update Auctiva - when are we likely to see some action?

I've just signed up for auctiva because my aussie mate was using it's scrolling photos of her listings. Spent a good hour learning about auctiva and like the other aussies, can't seem to be able to list on ebay australia. what's disappointing is that auctiva has only replied once way back in december on this post. auctiva are you there? why do you have a great site and tools, and no customer service? this is not how us yanks operate, i should know, i'm originally from the states. get your auctiva together and at least give us an answer. when can we list via the aussie site!!!??? yes, and why are some aussies using auctiva?

Can't understand it though as I got here from a listing on eBay.au.

what's making us think we can use auctiva is that aussies can still use that scrolling photo store thingy. but you have to click on the "store" tab when you get to the auctiva site to set it up (and we don't realise that). we just start signing up for the whole thing because it looks so great!

i sure hope so angellisa (love your logo)!!!! it sounds like it's been a slow go. at least put something on your home page to say that the whole program is only for usa and uk, at this time, so us aussies don't go through the setup, learning and hours before we find out the bad news! you're not making any friends this way. and keep in touch this time and let us know the timeframe. every month would be nice. thanks.

I love Auctiva and live in Australia. Had issues a few weeks ago as could only sell on US ebay site via Auctiva. I know soooo many people who would use your site if we had access to ebay Australia.

I like many of you I too have just spent ages figuring out how to create listings here on Auctiva after finally deciding to take the BIG step and become a seller only to find that Aussies can't use the site to list in Oz only. Like many others I have no interest in selling overseas.

To be honest I was very surprised to discover that AU isn't supported.....

On the bright side though by being a member of Auctiva I get that beaut little scroll thingy whatsit at the bottom of my listings and have sold a couple of things via it so not all is lost....

*sits down to wait for the AU thing to start happening*

Quick update:

There is an internal beta release of the site that supports listing on eBay Australia which we are testing internally as I type this.

We plan on releasing support for eBay Australia during the week of June 12th (the week of eBay Live here in the US).
