"eBay Makes Private Auctions Standard"

Rome fell, Enron. This sounds like Humpty Dumpty to me. This is the first time in my life that I can recall an organization the size of a country or two to declare secrecy to be more secure than transparency -- oh wait -- there was that Russia and communisim thing.

Oh well I guess Ebay has decided to give the Stolen Goods merchants some cover. How naive and gullible does the management of Ebay really take us for. I say shut em down!

Unfortunately they seem to be the only game in town (can anyone say monopoly). Maybe there needs to be some governmental over site like the utilities, and when they want to raise rates they need to apply for permission.

Didn't know about the ability to bid up my own auctions. Might have to look into that.
