eBay notice of change of SYI form?

No, I don't think that will affect Auctiva sellers.

It won't affect you because you use Auctiva and not their lister page. I suppose if Auctiva was down and you went to eBay to list you'd be taken to their new lister form in that case.

It's little disappointing that eBay emailed all our users telling them to go use the new lister page. What eBay should have done is seen that a seller had used eBay's SYI page, but had also posted items through a 3rd party. Then included even a line or two about that in their email. Such as: "If you are using a 3rd party such as Auctiva to list your items you should not be impacted by this change unless you were to come list on eBay's SYI form in which case you'd be directed to the new version of that page."

Why wouldn't eBay users using the new eBay seller page be directed to the new page by default? Do they keep more than one type of page active when they update? It's not downloadable, is it? (It's been a while since I've used the eBay SYI page!)

They've had the old and new pages active for a few months. They've been sending people to the new page. They're about to take the old page away though. So they emailed to warn people. The only problem being that since they sent it to users that list through Auctiva it's lead to them worrying and to additional support.

Thanks so much for your info Jeff! You've relieved my mind greatly! I was having nightmares that perhaps eBay was trying to cut out 3rd party listers like Auctiva. I use this service exclusivly for my listings and was afraid that i was going to have to switch my hundreds of listings to another service!

What I worry about is a communication error between Auctiva and ebay that creates a problem when we try to post our listings once the new SYI is permanent. I am not a big techie, but I worry Auctiva may miss a step. Besides as we all know, someting basic like their spell check is always having problems.
