Ebay Search Turns up Empty

I recently posted a listing through Auctiva on ebay. It listed it immediately and it appeared on MyEbay immediately. However, when I search for my item description using E-bay's search engine my listing does not show up. How will buyers find my listing if it does not come up in a search? Does it take a certain amount of time before it starts to work? I can view my listing with no problems through "MyEbay" page.

Hi DannyUF,

The behavior you are seeing is actually relatively normal. When you post new listings to eBay, it can sometimes take up to 6 hours (according to their help page) for those listings to appear in all the appropriate search results pages. This process is referred to as "indexing" and is described in further detail on the following page of eBay's help index: http://pages.ebay.com/help/find/questions/wheres-my-item.html
