Hi,

I just signed up for the Auctiva service and upon importing all the information and data from eBay, all my eBay store listings are gone... disappeared... or somehow deleted. Should I panic or will this be resolved somehow, automatically. I don't want to have to manually re-list each individual item and I do not understand why I am not able to see any listings at all... whatsoever, in my eBay store. Also, all my custom categories from the eBay store is also deleted and changed to default settings.

This is all kind of disturbing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hi, do not panic Smile

This seems to be a common experience lately, importing does not suck listings off of eBay and they usually return, why I cannot be sure but if you look on these boards you will see many occurences of this lately when eBayers are joining up with Auctiva. This never used to happen it appears to be an eBay problem and not an Auctiva problem.

Do not relist anything yet, if nothing is visible after about 6 hours file a support request with Auctiva customer support. The link is near the bottom of the help page.
Hey Jeff,

Another thing... I know this might be off-topic, but it appears that you do read through the posts and maybe you can provide another added value service as part of Auctiva.

Currently, eBay only accepts their own payment method and NOT any third parties. Specifically, I'm referring to Google Checkout.

Question is... is it possible for you to figure out a way or somehow try to create a method for us to be able to bypass the present checkout process to go through Auctiva in order to start accepting payments via Google Checkout.

I know Vendio offers this type of integration. Maybe Auctiva can also.

I believe many eBay sellers would appreciate this and it would be VERY USEFUL. It's just a thought.

Keep up the good work!

No. eBay won't allow us to do that. Google Checkout is a prohibited payment method on eBay because eBay says it gives a bad buyer experience.

Here is a commentary on it from a few days ago, where the author calls foul on the comparisons in satisfaction:

It's only a matter of time before Google begins charging. I believe they've said it would be the end of this year.
