Interesting that eBay "picks" the types of items that fit in their rating system. Why not make it apply to everything? Well, probably because there is no way to police it. If an item is rated as excellent as opposed to very good, what is the difference say for a model railroad car? It all comes down to subjective evaluation and how can that be measured? Your opinion of quality is bound to be different than mine. Once again it appears the eBay is attempting to rule the selling world. Maybe a better idea is to insist that photos be IN focus and that there be MORE than one long distance shot. That way buyers can make an evaluation based on their own measures. To deal with this for my model sales I use Auctiva's Photo hosting so that I can post shots from every angle and give my buyers a chance to do their own thing. CW
