Editing an active listing

I am trying to make changes in the seller details in an active listing, and when I check the the html icon next to my listing in the saved listings folder, I get a sinking in water sound and no pop up box, therefore I have not been able to make changes. Also, when I go to revise my listing in Ebay I do not see an edit description button. Can anyone tell me why I am having this problem, and suggestions for getting my listing edited?

Hi Charlotte - Have you checked that you have no pop-up blockers turned on? That would keep your HTML box in Auctiva from opening.

You are correct, there is no longer an "edit description" button on ebay's revise your item page - I believe they revised the page to make it simpler. However, above the description box is an HTML tab which will display the HTML for the template and everything in it (description, seller details, pictures,etc.)

You can also edit the TEXT of your description, including seller details, in the "standard" view (default view) of the description on the ebay revision page. This alternate way of changing the text is actually easier since it requires no HTML transfer from your saved listing in Auctiva. If you wish to revise the photos however, then it is best to change them in your saved listing, and then paste the new HTML into your active listing.
