Editing Store

Posted the other day re: my custom store disappearing and being replaced by one of the auto ones sooooo I am trying to restore my original design but cannot access any of the customizable templates - only the predesigned ones - could any of my store problems be related to a domain name change issue? If so how do I find the original domain name I had?
