I would ALSO take some time and write a description..my computer has pretty good sound but I can't understand half of the audio. I have no idea what the gizmo aactually is Smile

To your credit you've made it optional to the viewer (which is why you need a description in writing) I have my sound turned off pretty much all the time when I'm on Ebay because of the listings with music or whatever that scare the bejesus out of me Big Grin I hit he back button as fast as I can, doesn't matter how much I wanted to look at the item, I really dislike auctions with sound.

This is just my personal opinion...

Hi Tadpole...I personally love it! I think it is very professional, you give a great description (some of your description and reason for selling is a little redundant)clarity of the clip shows beautifully on my end (I use Microsoft Internet Explorer). I agree with Member 8880 that you should include a short description above the video and post a blurb that viewer should adjust the volume level of their speakers (in case they have it defaulted to LOUD.) Best of luck to you, I'd love to know how you do this! Jeanie B.
Hello lookandbuyme and itsjustme,

If the video you want to include in your listing is hosted on Youtube then you can easily add it to your listing by using the "old embed" code for that video. To locate the code you need for your video first simply locate the video clip on Youtube. Now click the "Share" tab, then click on the "Embed" tab. You would now be able to select the checkbox for "Use old embed code" and copy the old embed code as it displays. If the embed code you obtain has "iframe" tags, then it will not post successfully to eBay as the listing will return an API Error message from eBay. So you need to use the "old embed code" for your video. Also Auctiva can not host your videos for you, so you should use a free hosting service like Youtube to upload your videos to first.

Now when creating your listings in Auctiva you want to click the "Source" tab on the description editor toolbar and then paste in the video clips HTML code into your description HTML. When finished click the "Source" tab again and you will simply see a box or "flash" indicating that the clip is in your description. When you preview and/or post the listing, you will be able to click to view the video clip directly in the description and without navigating away from the listing or eBay.

If you have any difficulty adding your Youtube hosted video clips to your listings created in Auctiva, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab within your account and selecting the “File Support Case” option.

Thank you!
