Hi,

I had an auction up and had to end it early. Only up for 1 1/2 hours with no bids yet. There was and error that couldn't be revised. Anyways, I've made my changes to the auction in my saved listing folder. Now I want to schedule/list it again. Getting message saying that,"You are about to schedule a brand new listing to eBay. If you are trying to revise an existing listing, please use the revise feature on the active listings page on our site. Are you sure you want to continue scheduling this saved listing? Click Confirm Schedule below to schedule this listing." This listing is not active right now because of ending it early. It's in the closed folder. If I go there, there is the option of clicking on relist but this does not reflect the changes made. How do I get the changed one to be listed as a relist so that if the items sell, I will be reimbursed for the fees. Or do I have to just make it as a new one because I made a lot of changes and just be out the fees twice? Thanks.

Hi - The only way to be reimbursed for your insertion fee is to relist your listing from your closed folder, and then revise it after it posts to ebay. But if you say that listing has an error that cannot be revised, then that doesn't sound like an option. Since the old listing is what needs to be relisted for credit, if it can't be revised, then I think you are stuck with posting your newly revised listing as a new post. There is no way to transfer the revisions now in your saved folder directly to the old listing in the closed folder, and then relisting. Clear as mud?
