Well, I'm wondering why you want to use public key encrypted (SSL) connections for your pictures?

HTTPS is a secure form of HTTP using a public key encryption algorithum which would require setup of a certificate on the host server, i.e. your picture server. It's normally a method to secure transport of transactions and not for simple load of pictures.

I would assume ebay doesn't see the need for secure connection to a picture server and therefore doesn't recognize HTTPS as valid for the URL entry.
LOL is my first reaction WEll if i knew how the "s" go there or where i would even find it then i sure could remove it
Hve ben listing with auctiva for well over a year have over 400 listing on onow all with auctiva but never saw this before this is how i have done the pictures always so nothing (that i know of changed

so how do ifnd the "s" to remove it
You would have to use the HTML Mode on the listing editor and search for any HTTPS entries.

I did find one in mine, for the Paypal logo. All my pictures on an active listing were simple HTTP in the description section. You'd also have to check the header/gallery image on an active listing, but I'm assuming the problem is on the Auctiva end for something you are trying to list????? Getting a rejection at list?
Hi Community,

This "bug" was introduced as a result of our release Wednesday morning and is causing listings that have images with secure site URL's to fail to pass validation and, consequently, not be able to be posted. We will be correcting this problem with a brief site update some time tomorrow.

In the mean time, in order to post these listings successfully through Auctiva, please remove the eBay/Paypal images with https URL's within your description, or replace them with once that do not have secure site URL's if they are available.

Thank you for understanding.

Hi Mike,

Ahhhhh...so it's the PayPal Verified logo that's the problem???? That's clipped code from PayPal. Don't know if that's changable and it's probably a pervasive issue with the major of the community.

OK.....I'm planning a listing for around 1:15 PST tomorrow. I'll check back. Can you post a notice....please....when it's safe to go back in the water. Smile

Dan

Edit: That's 1:15 PST in the afternoon.
