Error message and can't figure out why!

I keep getting this error message that says ' API Error

The item cannot be listed or modified. The title and/or description may contain improper words, or the listing or seller may be in violation of eBay policy."

I have redone my listing several times but I always get this error for this product(digital camera)even when I use the eBay 'sell' w/o Auctiva!

It does not say what I'm doing wrong so I have no idea what to change to get this to be listed.

Can anyone help?

Hi, I have gotten an API error- but I don't recall the same wording as you got "improper wordsetc.." mine had said string value invalid and it was because my item specifics contained too many characters-- also as I read your error I wonder do you have any quotes in your title? that may be it. SOrry- if this doesn't help. Maybe cut and paste your title here so someone can see it

My title says, "PENTAX OPTIO S60 DIGITAL CAMERA"

and that's all. Then I include copy and a few pictures. I even did the same listing with eBay and got a message that said the listing has been blocked. I just don't get it!

Yeah, this has happened to me before - it's pretty annoying that eBay's software can pick out words they don't allow but can't tell you what those words are so you can remove them.

You might try your question in the "Listing" section of the eBay forums...

I assume that other listings for other items are going up fine for you?

As mentioned above take out the QUOTE (") marks and see if that works.

BTW ebay will not allow you to use quote marks in responding to buyers emails.
