I've been trying to post my auction for about twelve hours now and every attempt has failed. I receive an error message after the acution has automatically scheduled for a different time that says "Not Posted In Time." I'm not exactly sure what that means as far as my listing or the measures I can take to fix it. Is anyone else running into the problem and does anyone have an idea what those who are experiencing the issue can do to correct it. If anything.

To all who may have received this problem. I'm happy to tell you the answer has come in. Auctiva has promptly responded to my support ticket and has instructed me on resolving the issue.

Although, I'm not clear if this solution will clear everybodies issue that has come with the error message "Not Posted In Tone" but it did work for me and the odds are it will do the same for you.

I should mention that before you go through with the process and try and complete it you should log into your email account.

Auctiva's Response:

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us in regards to the eBay generated API error that was placed on your item /s. After running the generic API error through our filter; below is the actual API error.

eBay has restricted your ability to list new items as a result of a violation of eBay's Intellectual Property policy. You can still access other features on eBay.

We'd be happy to lift this restriction once you've completed a brief tutorial about this policy. Once you've completed the tutorial, you can begin selling again immediately.

Take the tutorial

Thank you for supporting our efforts to maintain a safe marketplace.

Unfortunately we at Auctiva are unable to remove any limitations or restrictions that eBay may have put in place on your account and the error message is the only information that we receive back from eBay as to why this particular item failed to post. I can only suggest that you follow eBay’s request/s via the links should any be provided in the error message. If the problem persists then please contact eBay support at http://pages.ebay.com/help/newtoebay/about-support.html and let them know the exact error message that was returned and they should be able to explain why this error was returned and how to remove the limitation they have placed onto your account.

Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thank you,
Auctiva Support

I had two listings come back that way on Tuesday night. Before I read the above post, I figured it had to do with that. A few months ago I had listed 10 designer perfumes - all legit but they kicked them all off. I had to take the tutorial and since then they only let me list 6 top line/name brand items at a time. I had forgotten about that and had 8 new listings on Tuesday. Well, the last two I wrote wouldn't list. After multiple tries I decided to just schedule them to list next week so will have to wait and see if they will launch then.
