Hi - It's possible that your listing is not posting right away due to heavy traffic and is exceeding the time limit you specified for "re-trys" when you scheduled the post. I'm not sure about this, it's just a thought and something to check. I've always set this at 10 minutes and never had a problem. Also, did you do an error check before posting?
I have been on Auctiva since April and have been noticing the "events" thing. Today I looked into it but have no idea what it is about. and can't find an explanation for it any where. I do have some not posted in time, but where did I ever set a time to retry????
So did it ever post????
Where can I go to get information. Maybe you guys ought to put out an online information sheet for illiterate users?

Hi, an event is a message regarding an action, it informs you about how well it worked.

For example 'Scheduled Listings' events these are generated by posting a listing to eBay using Auctiva's scheduling facility. Basically these events fall into 3 categories,

1) success (successful), like a listing has been sent to eBay without a hitch. Smile

2) notice (e.g. a warning), probably posted but there was a hiccup, Frown at which point I would check my active listings on eBay to confirm. It is possible to get a warning as well as a succesful event for a given listing.

3) failure (a significant problem or error), something is wrong with your listing that prevents it from being accepted by ebay e.g. you specified gallery but did not select an image for it. Eek Or it maybe that eBay is too busy to accept your posting. Once again check for the listing in your 'My ebay' active listings.

Tips: Always preview and error check your listing particularly if you intend it to be a scheduled posting.

There is a default retry interval on the page where you schedule items (30 minutes I believe)which can be changed.

I hope this helps.
