I have just been preparing some saved listings on Auctiva to post on Thursday and have noticed that the estimated ebay fees don't seem to tally with the fees on ebay itself. For example:
Listing of wristwatch at £349
Estimated Insertion Fee = £3
Actual Insertion Fee on Ebay = £2
I would like to get going on this but am wondering why there is a difference as I obviously don't want to be billed too much
Also, Ebay in the UK is having a 10p listing day on Thursday 12th Jan. Will your system and Ebay for that matter recognise this when I submit the listing via Auctiva?

Hi mcpop,

The insertion fees you are assessed are the same when listing through Auctiva as through eBay. In your example, you would be charged 2 pounds, not 3, if that is how much eBay charges(you aren't charged any additional fees from Auctiva). I'll look into the fee calculator discrepancy and work on getting that fixed.

On days when eBay offers listing fee discounts, like Jan. 12th, you can still take advantage of the discounts when listing through Auctiva, although our fee calculator will not be changed.

mcpop72,

I just tested the first issue you noted about the "Choose Item Specifics" link not appearing when the category of a saved listing is changed and was unable to recreate the problem. Perhaps you should file a support case about this issue, using the appropriate link on our help page, so we can try it with your particular listing.

Also, when I change shipping information from a loaded profile from worldwide shipping to UK only, it displays UK only on the preview. Is this change taking place after the listing is submitted to eBay?

And...yes, the revisions you mention should be done directly through eBay.

Thanks Mike, the problem appears to be that every time I launch a preview pane it is caching the old data and will not refresh with some of the new. After several attempts and going away and coming back again it seems to have worked. Very strange as with the behaviour with the 'Item Specifics"

Your assistance with another matter please - when scheduling a listing it only offers me PST for the time. How can I change this as I set to UK when my opened my account. Thanks for your continued help
I'm also having problems with the "Choose Item Specifics" link, I can't get it to appear at all. I sell craft items, mainly cross stitch kits and charts. When I use Turbo Lister or directly list through Ebay I have the option to select new which I do usually as all my stuff is brand new from the supplier. Through Auctiva this doesn't appear to be an option for this category as I cannot see anywhere where the Item Specifics comes up. I feel this slightly disadvantages me as others can specify this in their listing and mine no longer do. Is it the case that I would have to revise all my listings through Ebay itself after submission?

Would it be possible to have the new release incorporate an optional New/Used for every category?

I would be grateful if anyone can give me some advice on what I need to do.

Many thanks
