This service is great. however i'm still wondering how this is free? Are there going to e fees associated with it later? Is there a limit on number of daily/monthly listings.

I understand that there will not be any fees. AS hopes to recover their costs by the ad on your auction page. Great huh?! You can use their service as much as you want.
Yesterday i was listing from auctiva, and the estimated fees were 0.05 US and I was very happy, after 10 items uploaded i realized ebay was charging me 0.35 (insertion fee), auctiva told insertion was free in the estimated fee.

mynewbuys - I am not sure how many are store listings, but if you are using the same templates for both and say create from a saved store item and change to auction - then the $.05 price you were given would be correct. You probably had not refreshed before getting the quote. If you are in the marketing section and change what you are using it refreshes and shows you the correct amount.
As a seller with that many items - MHO you should have known you were not going to list auctions on ebay for free no matter who you go through. You will always pay the listing fees - for store items to list with gallery is $.05 and auctions are at least $.70 unless you run auctions under $.99. Some of the ones you sell for $1 would save you $.10 each to lower to $.99.
