Hi Mike,

Sorry...fix didn't work. It works for at least one pass of editing a new or previously saved listing, but then fails on any fresh entry of the one-page. Interesting that I had to create a new listing to finally see the problem. Old listings that I checked earlier didn't produce the problem. Now they do. Confused Not sure that was part of the fix (new problem).

Odd thing....you can see an attempt to load the description section editor window and toolbar, and then it just ghost-fades to white.

As I mentioned earlier today, I looked at the code and see an "IFRAME" for that section.

Just seems to be happening in FF (FF3 for me). No problem detected in IE7, so far.

Danno
I've Firefox 3.0 and ahve done all the recommended fixes and it seems to be the "ERROR CHECK" is the problem. I've changed some saved listings and when I hit error check is when you lose the item description.

Going back to the saved listings header and pulling the auction back up, eeverything reappears. I was also able to schedule 2 listings, by NOT USING THE ERROR CHECKER.

Hope this helps ....
Hi there
I am having numerous problems listed about 20+ items to go on this evening at 8.15pm listed them last nite so it ok then had a look at my scheduled listings but none of the descriptions are on there - have just listed and posted one item on its own to see whether the description would go on there and have been waiting for the item to go on ebay since 7.50 it says on auctiva it is being processed and being posted but still I don't have anything - I hate to think whats going to happen to my ones at 8.15???Anyone go same problems as me
why do they mess with something when it was working fine - the 'disease' has now spread to IE for me so I guess thats it - no more Auctiva - its finished. Saved listings lose their description, or if the description is there you cannot save or post or schedule - you can save as - it then gives you the option to save as again. I assume Auctiva is just a one man hobby site and he must have gone out of his depth.

No true SSrabble ... Auctiva is a great service and there are numerous techs involved. They are upgrading and we go through little bumps once in a great while. It's a FREE service - with friendly people providing the service to you, and all of us. Be patience - the hiccups will go away.
... When preparing a listing - and if you can't see the description part - go to bottom of the page and click on the Check for Errors - it'll bring forth the text for you to work on.

Breathe deep - or just walk away for awhile.
Okay,. just tried it again, and for a minute there it looked like the description was back. It faded, then turned solid, something seemed to 'click' in and it became solid and I thought AHH they fixed it!

But then it disappeared.

I tried clicking on the Error Check button. Nothing seemed to change at first, but then the description finally appeared and stayed.

Is this going to be the work-around until Auctiva can solve the problem? It adds an extra step and takes more time. :-( But it is better than not being able to list at all. I hope it can be fixed soon though.
