Hi,

I'm new to Auctiva and impressed up til now. I started by setting up some SIF and Fixed Price listings about 2 weeks ago. No problems.

This weekend been in and posted some new and existing listings SIF & Fixed for them to come up with an error message when I post them.

The message says "- The seller is not qualified to list a shop fixed price item, or shop Fixed-Price feature is not available on international sites"

????? I have checked my ebay account as I have 5 points and paypal set up to link to, Ebay say all is OK, they can see I've listed Fixed Price before so shouldn't be a problem.

Auctiva say I need to get Ebay to lift the restrictions on my account?

Has anyone else had this happen? At the moment I cannot see whats happened so am unable to move forward with my shop unless I ditch auctiva and just use Ebay.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sorry to waffle!!

Hi Vix,

I wonder if they are referring to a restriction on listing in certain categories. There are often limits for number of items listed in 7 day period for new sellers on some items.

Also, does your "FB Count" at Auctiva reflect the necessary minimum count needed for SIF or FP? Sometimes, that's what needs updating.

If this is your 1st attempt to list, double-check all your Auctiva account settings. I'm curious about the "not available on international sites" reference in the error. Are you default listing to wrong server, e.g. UK member with listing on US server set in listing?

One more thought, a dutch (quantity > 0) needs FB count of 15 with PayPal to qualify. I think that applies to SIF too.

Got a link to your shop and the listing # of the one that worked?

Do any of those limits I mentioned have any bearing on the problem(s)?

Auctiva suggesting it's a "Restriction" and to "talk to eBay" really sounds like it's a category restriction (or TS is having an off day), but anything is possible with all the new policies. Roll Eyes

Hi,

Been through my Auctiva settings and can't see anywhere that says Ebay.co.uk or .com? My Ebay token is valid.

I didn't know auctiva has its own FB thing, I presumed that as I qualify for EBAY under the 5 + paypal I could do a Fixed Price/SIF listing and they have worked previously.

Ebay Shop link:
http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Victoria-and-Co

Successful SIF listing from the weekend:

I've tried again today to list and its still not letting me, I'll take a quick look at the category restrictions now...

The "Default eBay Listing Site" is set in the Account Settings, Listing Management section.

They don't. They do pick-up your count when Token is passed and that count has (in the past) been a show-stopper for quals. Since you got one listed for FB from Auctiva, that doesn't appear to be a problem. However, since you only have 5 FB, you don't qualify for quantity > 1 on FP or SIF (need 15).

Since you are selling jewellery, you might have restrictios for branded names. That's very common for new seller. Are the failed listings all jewellery?

OH....and did you remember to sync your custom eBay Store Categories to Auctiva? That done in the Auctiva Account Settings for eBay.

I've got jewellery (non-designer) and decorative notebooks all failed.

When i set up my auctiva I set up shop listings for about 5 items and same for fixed price, so when the fixed price came to an end I wanted to re-post them in auctiva which is when I started having problems.

OMG nightmare, I'll see what Ebay have to say tomorrow and take it from there.

Thanks for your help I'm off to bed now my hayfever is doing my head in, be back on tomorrow and see if I get any further.

Thanks Danno, we've defo checked a few things so I must be nearer sorting it out.

Ooh I'll check that synchronize thing out too.
