Auctiva gives a lot and asks literally nothing back. Free is free, period.
Nobody is forced to use the insurance or any other part of the web site. And regardless of who thinks they are a better judge of how this ball should be rolled, serving our images for free is huge. If they have much in the way of memory and cpu and disk drives, servers run upwards of $5,000 to $20,000 per copy. And cage rent at Herakles isn't cheap either.
This is a decent operation that I hope stays free down the road. Auctiva's back end is already in sync with eBay's new schema. The other services will be trying to play catch up coding in changes this summer (eBay's hot season) while Auctiva will just be rolling along smoothly. For Free.

you can say that again !! Don't no where i would be listing my stuff oh never mind it would be ebay ,and i would be paying for all pictures +pay for templets oh lets see what that free here!!!
