njm Posted January 15, 2008 09:40 AM Looking for advice on how to save .35 gallery picture fee ebay charges? Any help? THANKS! ______________________________
If you find a way, be sure to let us know...wouldn't it be nice to save 35 cents on each and every listing...we might actually be able to make a profit, imagine that!
There's another way of looking at this. If you can create a good listing title that will grab the viewer's attention, and/or if the picture is not actually going to help a great deal because it is so small - then don't use the Gallery feature, just rely on your title to pull the viewer in. Once they have your listing open, all the other photos are there, so it is only that first grab you are after - personally, when I have a list of items in front of me, I look at the titles rather than the photos.
Hey Pete..fancy seeing you here at this time of night (or morning??)
I ALWAYS usa a gallery pic, I'd use one even if they cost twice as much. When I'm shopping, I tend to skip over the listings without one, but that's just me...
For my 2 pence worth, if I am looking for something attractive, gallery helps, if I am looking for a book or magazine I search by title or content, gallery is irelevant.
Once looking at the listing concise description detail and a clear sharp image, preferably supersizeable within the listing.
