gallery/thumbnails being switched on renewal of listing

Is anyone else having the problem where images are not being relisted for another 30 day roll over the way that you set them up? I use the best photo for gallery...close up photos for the thumbnail--when the listing comes up for renewal, the closeup photo is being switched with the gallery and my whole store is a jumbled mess now...any advise?
