General Shipping question??? | Auctiva

Man, Shipping seems to be outragous! 10 years ago when I first sold some stuff, I remember USPS had a flat rate box that was $2.25 and a decent size. I go to the post office today and find an envelope that is $4.60 flat rate, and that is the cheapest I have found?? I ship a very small box through UPS and it's $12.00!??

How do people get away with charging such a low shipping fee?

What are you guys doing?

Yep, for flat rate that is the cheapest...the boxes come in a couple of bigger sizes for 8.90. Here'a a link to USPS Store, you can order Priority shipping boxes free

Check the buyer's zip code first..sometimes it's much cheaper to ship regular Priority instead of Flat Rate, and if the item is 13 oz or under, First Class is very inexpensive and just about as fast
