Yep, I received an error message just as I was trying to list an item. I have been listing all night with no trouble than BAM. I logged out and even restarted my computer. When I tried to sign into Auctiva again I received an error message. I did contact support to so hopefully I can finish my last 2 listings tonight. Unfortunately so many people have discovered this wonderful free service that it gets bogged down more than it used to. I am going to go delete some pictures, Great sugestion, lol.
Our luck the Auctiva guys are in bed...LOL... Dave had just finished a listing on a Pool table light... and now it's either stuck in the limbo of the "save" world or it no longer exists. I'm so hoping it saved. It kills me that if the whole site crashed how come we can still get into the community unless it's on another server. To boot all our listing that are up the scrolling gallery is down. We love Auctiva... and Sparkles I hear ya on deleting pics of sold items... I'm guilty.. we have some that are constant relists as we have an inventory of makeup that we sell but we have A LOT that is sold gone with happy buyers and we're still holding on the pictures... LOL "a memory of what we once had" LMAO!!!! Once it's back up I think I'm going to be doing some major cleaning out.
Hi Vintage Vine...there were some problems a couple weeks ago where the listing were getting stuck in processing and that lasted about a week and then all has been fine until now. But in the time that we've been using Auctiva these are the only problems we've ever had so it's not discouraging us from Auctiva just leaving us a tad behind on listings. To top it all of I'm starting a new job and will be training from 5pm to 5am for two weeks and my scheduling is going to have to be all changed up and I won't be able to monitor anything like I used to Frown
yes ive tried to think of a suggestion to solve that problem froma listers point of view for the guys.. like to be able to have a choice. of saving listing info on a temp... but a real plus.. would be to delete the pictures if a ad is deleted. i love that they dont disappear after a item sells that awsome.. cuz i work with folders ( pics ) i push pictures to a running pics folder.. i think it be great and i wouldnt mind at all to be able to delete an ad of original one of a kind items. and have it delete pics at same time. i could deal with that.. its hard to run through all pics.. example. i list toons of books and take pics of 24 pages. much are index ect. hard to tell what pic goes w what book and if its still running.. or maybe if they could highlight somehow or id.. in pictures.. what pictures are live and running instead of just as you go to deelte telling you " some are on active items " hard to tell which to uncheck. theres a thought. to have a check mark. like int he pop up attach pictures.. to check and uncheck. pics in active items. then wed know which to give the boot.. would save them a TON of bandwidth. i'll suggest it when they get up there again. id love that feature and it be a big plus for the guys at auctiva
Yeppers... they are back up and running full speed Smile

I just got this from support...

UGH, after going through a couple of days of %&*$, my sweet husband finally helped me. Basically all was fine on 1/25, 1/26 UNTIL I had some issues with logging in. I still don't know why this happened but whenever I'd go to www.auctiva.com, I'd get a blank screen. Couldn't log in for anything. I tried clearing my cookies and all and then then I couldn't log into the board. I fiddled with this yesterday from 8am - past 9 pm last night until I virtually begged my husband to get in here and help me find out what I did wrong, what happened, if it was Auctiva or my computer. So FINALLY he reset things, came in here and fiddled around with my computer. Found out that I'd accidentally blocked(DON'T block your cookies...lol!)the cookies for Auctiva! That was one of the biggest issues and of course restarting the computer and making sure all your Firefox, IE and all, java script etc. are all updated. Works fine so far. Just wanted to let others know I'm done pulling my hair out-...what's left of it that is...lol! Razz
