Help API - HTTP/FTP ErrorHell

Can someone help me please. I use externally hosted pics; the url they are located at begins with HTTPS, not http nor ftp. The 5 auctions that should have launched, didn't.

What do I have to do to fix? If HTTPS is not allowed why didn't I get an error when I did the error check?

Hi MaryB,

The reason these listings failed to post is because we do not allow HTTPS: hosted images as an option for external image hosting. This has been reported to our engineering department and we will add validation for this to our "Error Check" button for a future release.

In the mean time, if you wish to use externally hosted images when listing through Auctiva, please make sure they are hosted on an HTTP site.

I already changed all my postings to use your web hosting. My ISP uses https, so I will not be able to use existing storage and no way I'm paying for something I already have.

Thanks for changing the edits so it will catch it. It was a nasty surprise.
