Hi brtime,

Thanks for contributing to our forum. I just checked our records and your Auctiva account I was able to locate based on the information available to me currently has a valid token so, unless you have another account, it does not appear you actually need to generate a new token at this time.

You can verify whether your eBay token is currently valid from within your Auctiva account by mousing over the "My Account" tab, selecting the "eBay" option under Settings, and then check the “Token Status” area on the ensuing page.

It is also possible that the email you received was a phishing email that, while purporting to be from our company, was actually an illegitimate email that was designed with the intention of acquiring your login credentials for unauthorized use.

If you confirm that the account the email was sent with respect to already has a valid token and you entered your username and password in the site you were linked to from the email, it would be a good idea to change your Auctiva and eBay passwords as soon as possible to ensure your account is secure.

If you receive any suspicious emails which appear to be from Auctiva in the future, I recommend forwarding them to our Security team at abuse@auctiva.com so we can confirm whether they are fraudulent and, if so, minimize the impact of the fraud.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our Customer Support team by mousing over the “Help” tab and selecting the “File Support Case” option.

-Mike
