Help Needed!

I really don't have much idea on how to make templates. I have serif webplus 10 with which i've designed a custom template but I don't know how to make that into a new template on auctiva. I have copy and pasted its HTML into the HTML box but nothing comes up, just lots of squares. Do I have to upload the images used for that template seperatly? If so how? Please help.

I would up load all the related images onto Auctiva then insert the urls for each into the template.

The url's for the uploaded images can be found under images->manage.
