Hi all,

Its my fault entirely, but I opened an auctiva account this afternoon. I was completely unaware that my ebay shop would be emptied of both BIN items and SIF items.

I was not prepared to wait 12- 24 hours with an empty shop so panicked and closed my account.

I expected my shop items to show up immediatley, but they do not.

How long will it be before my shop has its items back please?

Also can I come back to auctiva on a quieter selling day when to have my shop shut for 24 hours will not be such a big thing?

Many thanks

James

It depends on eBay. Sunday is their busiest day. Normally it takes around 6 hours.

Once eBay has reviewed your listings for fraud you can use us without your listings disappearing again.

Closing your account on our site has no effect pro or con in terms of what eBay does with your listings.

I went and checked and your listings are showing up again. At least 112 of them. Looks like you have another 250 or so store items that they are still reviewing. They must have reviewed the items closest to ending first as those were a priority.
I wonder if someone might be able to explain to me why this happened? I'm new and do not understand why signing up for an Auctiva account would make the existing store listings from an established store disappear.

If this will happen with my Powerseller boss's store listings, we need to know about it in advance. There's at least 8,000 items in his store right now. He wants to switch to using Auctiva because Turbolister is giving him fits, but this sounds like a problem we'd need to know in advance. Thanks for any help.
The FAQ at HELP (top page) has an explanation, but the long story short goes.....ebay pulls them all because they are updated with Auctiva embeds (like the Scrolling Gallery) and re-released after security check. It can take hours, especially for large Store; so not something to do unless the timing is planned well for the temporary outage.
