(sorry, previously listed this in "The Lounge") Happy 4th! Please, help me?! I'm so new to navigating Auctiva and spent HOURS trying to teach myself. 2 problems ... my 1st entered item 140135361520 duplicated with same item number (under listed auctions, not in the saved auctions) and showing up twice in the showcase! How do I delete one AND how do I get the showcase at the BOTTOM instead of TOP of my listing? I can't tell you how much I appreciate your help! I've been at this since last night & no quick help=thought all looked ok until it was listed! Sigh ....

Hi, just ansered your duplicate item question on the lounge posting, regarding gallery position, select the 'store tab', then 'edit scrolling gallery' where you will find an area marked gallery placement and preview options.

Select wnat you want then save changes so this setting will be applied to subsequent listings.

To correct any active listings you need to then go back to the store tab and select 'scrolling gallery HTML' and copy the code you find there.

Then revise your item on eBay and with the editor in HTML mode paste this copied code over the existing code with the same start and end tags.

Take care you only replace the scrolling gallery component of the code in your listing. If in doubt please ask again Smile
Sigh, I'm done ... I couldn't find the exact html so I give up, unless I end auction and hope that the showcase at "bottom" that I changed while this one was auction will show up on the bottom. Perhaps it won't since it will be a relist. ChooChoo, you've been incredibly kind and patient and supportive! THANK YOU for your time and efforts! Mike
Hi Mike, there are quite a few options on setting things up as you want them with eBay and Auctiva which can get quite confusing.

Persevere and you will be all right, after all listings do not last that long. if the item of concern is of relatively low value let it run.

If you think that the format you started with is going to cause a financial disaster pull it and list again from scratch (as opposed to relist). You can end it at any time from 'my eBay', just select the 'error in listing' option if you do. It is just the matter of weighing up costs afterall it is about making some money, however do not get in the habit of ending listings early as it really puts buyers off !

When you have been selling for a while it becomes a lot easier. Smile
