Hi all, hoping someone can help me, I normally list via auctiva on Australian ebay but am for the first time trying to list on US ebay and the listings keep getting rejected with an "API Error", saying that as I accept money orders as a payment type my listings cannot be posted. I've gone back and edited all listings and as far as I can see in Auctiva it shows me as only accepting paypal bt the listings are still being rejected. And I'm stuck now don't know what else to try! Thanks in advance, C.

Hi!
I looked at one of the listings that had the error message, and found this in your Payment section of the description: "For Australian buyers, direct bank deposit is preferred. Money orders, paypal and personal cheques are also accepted. Cash is acceptable for local pickups only. International buyers, paypal only please."

Because the US eBay site does not allow "paper" payments in most categories, if you wish to list directly on it you must remove all references to checks, money orders, etc. in the listing. You will need to revise the Seller Details profile you are using for those listings and try posting them again.
eBay scans listings that are being posted and will reject them if they have ANY mention of money orders or checks or other "paper payments" (with a few category exceptions.)

Hope that helps!
Rebecca
