Hi & Help I have been trying to use different browsers but to NO avail. Safari. Firefox or Camino. When I go to Ebay to revise the listing's description in any browser I only get HTML. Is there something I can do to get ENGLISH. Or should I just take classes in HTML?? Confused

But isn't that the only option any time you revise a listing at eBay? It's been a while since I created a listing there but I thought you had to know basic HTML to do that too..

Anyhow, another option (if the listing was originally created at Auctiva) is to revise the listing here and save it. Go into Saved Listings, tick the box next to the listing, then hit the "Get HTML" button at the top. Then take that HTML and plug it into eBay's description box.

dunno about when revising (I always use HTML, so havent paid attention if other way is available on ebay site) but ebay now has their own little text editor where can do bold, paragraphs, and a few other basic things. Okay if you just want formatted text for you listing, and/or are using ebay's templates that you have to pay extra for, but other than that ebay's text editor is pretty worthless (imho).

Course, like i said, since I use html, no biggie to me and the harder they make it for the competition... Wink

BTW, thanks for popping in and giving the OP the how-tos on getting html from auctiva for pasting. I couldnt remember the how-tos on it.
Thank you wayout, I guess I will proof read more than once and more carefully before I post any listings to ebay. I am not ready to learn HTML just yet.I have not created a listing in ebay in quite awhile and dont intend to do so.

Thanks Rick, when I need to revise I will try your instructions. I have a folder of instructions that I save info.
