Help to remove background color

Hi,

If you used the Profile editor for that Detail, you could switch to HTML view and locate the code for removal. It should look something like this:

<font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff"> your text here </font>

The code in red that designates a Font with background with white (color code for white is #ffffff) is what you need to remove. I don't know if you added the background to more than one section. If so, you should see it multiple times.

On some of the details I do see where it shows <font style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: #ffffff"> your text here </font> but on others the </font> does not show directly after the text as in this,

So next dumb questions, how do I know which </font> I need to remove when there are three or more after the text? I am assuming it is the first one but don’t want to screw it up.

Yes, that happens. Generally, it's best to remove them like a walk-out nested ordering in pairs.

However, if it's a short piece of code with alot of redundant and recursive coding, it's sometimes best just to wipe the formatting. There is an eraser symbol in most of the editors that clears HTML code. Yes, that's the simple do-over, but it does make the complex more simple.

Oh...and when there's 3 in a row and one in the group has to GO, just pick one.
