Help understanding images

If I understand what I've read in previous posts, to have a picture show up in your auction you select #1, which would be a free picture. You do not select the eBay header image or gallery image unless you are willing to pay for gallery. Is this correct? My reason for asking is that I'm editing several old listings (haven't sold on eBay for over a year because of my husband's health), and I want to remove gallery from those listings, but the only way I can seem to do that is if I remove the eBay header image.

Hi Tina,

The Header picture has always been the eBay one free picture. Gallery is now free in the US. Gallery must match the Header, when used.

eBay's fees are posted here: http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/fees.html Look under Listing Upgrade Fees for the Free Gallery.

Pictures hosted by Auctiva that you include using their listing methods are Free. So, the #1, #2, etc. are also Free.
