Here's my scenario:
I have a thousand widgets to sell.
I have 1, 3, and 5-packs of widgets (sold in quantity 3 per auction) using Buy It Now (BIN).
I have single widgets (sold in quantity 3 per auction) using standard auction style.

The standard auctions need to re-post automatically despite how many widgets have sold at auction close (since the auction will always last 7 days).

The BIN auctions need to re-post only when all items have sold or the auction ends, whichever is sooner (since BIN auctions can end before 7 days expire).

My concern is that Auctiva's "Relist" definition doesn't mean "post a new, identical auction." For instance, I get the idea that if my BIN auction ends with 1 of 3 items sold then it will re-list the same auction with quantity 2 items. Rather than re-listing, I want to open a new auction with quantity 3 items when the BIN auction ends.

I've created an "Any items sold" profile with only "Any items sold," "Relist with no changes," and "Auto-Relist immediately..." checked. Applying this profile to any of my saved listings doesn't seem to relist or open new auctions.

I hope I've explained this clearly enough to garner some assistance. Can I achieve what I wish here? Let me know if there are any details I've missed. I'd love for auto-relist to work for me. Smile

Hi,

I haven't done Auto-Relist (yet), but I have been studing the options. It's a new feature, so we're all trying to figure it out.

My observations.....

If you uncheck the "Relist with no changes.", you'll see a "Relist with a new quantity of [ ]" and the hidden "When Any items have sold" qualifier for that box (when checked). That might be the solution to the relist, when the count has dropped due to sale(s) and you always want 3 for quantity for new listing.

Also, if it's an always relist situation and you aren't using Inventory to track and aren't worried about supply in stock (said you got 1000), the "[ ] Dont Auto-Relist based on items sold" should always produce a relist whenever the Profiled listing ends. "Any items sold" might mean only when there is at least one sold (and might not include none sold). I noted that issue and am still not 100% certain, but the alternative would seem to avoid the question. Big Grin

To get the "ball rolling" you do need to add/apply the profile to a saved listing. But, you also need to do a first listing of that saved listing. To cancel Auto-Relist, you locate the active lising on the Active Listing page and use the STOP Auto-Relist button.

Hope those suggestions are helpful and please report back and let the Forum know if it works. Wink
