Hi Janale - You can insert pictures of any size up to 1024x768(Auctiva's maximum size) into your DESCRIPTION, with a caption if you wish. On your listing page, in your DESCRIPTION box you will find the word "user links" in the upper right corner. Click the icon to the left of that word to insert a photo. Clicking the icon will display a list of your saved photos. Select the photo you want and it will display in your DESCRIPTION box at the location of your cursor. If it is not the size you want, you will have to resize your saved picture and try again.

The "normal" method of inserting a picture, of course, is to use the add-photo section of the lister. The software will downsize your pic(s) to a 400x300 thumbnail with a "supersize" link to display your image at its original size. The lister is set up to use this method, and most listings created in Auctiva reflect this, but the choice is yours. Just keep in mind, the bigger the pic, the longer the download time. A dial-up buyer may not wait around for a long download and just go to the next seller's listing. I wouldn't advise a large number of really big pictures for this reason. The sample listing you mention used the first method of course.

I didn't realize you were trying to revise an ACTIVE listing. The reason that clicking "revise" from your active folder takes you to ebay is because you can only revise an ACTIVE listing from ebay's "revise your item" page. If revising items within the template area however, you can make changes to your saved listing in Auctiva first(info in first post still applies) and then copy & paste the new HTML to your active listing in ebay following the info in this thread:

If you are revising pictures, in addition to text, this method is the only way to go. Smile
