HELP!! With listing fot store items

Oh, and on the category isnt that for your category for my ebay store items??? or just items from auctiva's items....

Rhonda, I've run into the same problem. I also just opened an eBay store. The only way I have found to put the items in the proper store category on eBay is to revise each and every item after listing. If you use the same template for all auctions you could probably use the list similar option on eBay and then pick the category for each successive listing. The only problem I think is that the picture that shows up in the auction description will probably not work. It's not really critical because it will show up in 2 places anyhow. But a broken image link will show in the description on screen. You could go into the HTML code and remove the reference to that link and then use that first modified listing to list similar items and you will only need to modify your descriptions, pictures and shipping info. Which is the same as you would have to do anytime you use the list similar option.

If I understand your problem correctly, you want to select the proper category after you have listed a store item. When Auctiva is up and running again, and you can get to your Preferences, go there and follow some links. I forget exactly what they are, but you will find one that says something like Update Your Categories, click it and voila, they will be right there on your next listing, in a pull down menu next to where you have chosen your main listing category for that item. Hope this is what you need to know.

Thank you I think I understand now. Even though Auctiva is given permission on my account I still need to request the info be updated first before they use it. I did not have the eBay store when I first signed up with Auctiva so none of my store settings are present on Auctiva until I update. Thank you for jogging my brain.
