Hi,

I am new to Auctiva but have been listing on e-bay for many years and have used many services like this. When I launch my auctions if I use a ?,",' or fraction, etc - it shows up as a bunch of garbage characters on e-bay. When I asked supprt about it they said they do not accept these characters. I have never had a problem with this before and using these characters is quite common. Any ideas, suggestions or workarounds? It ia a paint to then go into e-bay and edit each listing affected.

Thanks,
apsolutions

Thanks,
I will try typing it in - I hesitate to use html code for the characters beacuse it takes up space and we have a limited amount of characters we can use in a title.

Try using the HTML code for "special characters."

It might also be occuring if you are copy & pasting the text. Try just typing it in.

Let me know if you continue to have this problem.

Thanks for the suggestion Auctiva Melanie!!! I was having a similar problem as apsolutions with one of my Auctiva listings previously listed on Ebay. I had originally copied & pasted the decription from my old Ebay listing to my Auctiva listing. I had attempted to list this item almost 10 times but each time I kept getting an API error message. After deleting the pasted description and retyping it, the listing went through without any problems. Thanks again!!! Big Grin
