I've been trying to list a bunch of vintage paperbakcs, but I keep getting the dreaded API error. I took out all references to PayPal (even the "PayPal is not accepted", which is just stupid), checked and double checked that all my shipping was to the US only, I didn't have "PayPal accepted" checked, etc, and they still wouldn't post. Finally I went through and edited some of the descriptions (which are just the summaries from the backs of the books) and took out some of the "naughtier" words. Three of the seven I'm trying to list posted, the rest didn't. I have NO CLUE what to edit out of the ones that didn't list, I have them down to positively kittycat tame descriptions and they still won't go.
I'm tearing my hair out. Is there a list somewhere that has "prohibited" words and phrases? I searched all over eBay's help and just found the generic "explicit language" warning. This is becoming such a pain that I'm ready to just chuck them in the trash. GRR!
