Hi all,
Auctiva sent out an email the other day stating that on 3/30, sub-title fees will begin at $1.50 each and then they went on to say, "If you decide to be more conservative with such options, remember that our Advanced Relist Editing tool can help you easily change your use of listings upgrades in some, or all of your listings."

But I've never seen this "advanced" editing tool. ?? When I click "edit and relist" it's one listing at a time, and of course the listing doesn't even contain any changes I've already made on eBay (so why relist from Auctiva?).

What do they mean by "advanced" tools? Advanced to me would mean I could click a link to show all my current listings on feebay, then click another link to "show all current listings with sub-title", then click a box that says "remove ALL sub-titles from current listings".

THAT is advanced. Does anyone know an easy fix to remove them? I'll be P.O.'d if I get charged $1.50 for a sub-title. NO WAY, JOSE!

Dear womandi,

Thanks for contacting us regarding this matter. The advanced relist editing tool you that was mentioned in the email is the "Edit and Relist" option that now shows up on the Closed Listings page for any closed listings that have associated saved listings stored within your Auctiva account.

When you click the "Edit and Relist" option next to a closed listing, the data that comes up in the editing interface is pulled from the saved listings from which the item was originally created so it is expected that it would not necessarily reflect things in the active listings that were added via revisions.

Similarly, if you have since used that saved listing as a template to create a whole new listing and saved over the original data, you might find that the data pulled up when you click "Edit and Relist" reflects a whole different item.

We do not offer anything that can be used to remove subtitles from active listings so that is something you would need to do through eBay if they will allow it. You can, however, removes subtitles during the process of relisting items through Auctiva using the "Edit and Relist" option to remove them during the relisting process.

All that being said, I have seen a couple cases recently in which users have reported the changes they made when using this option were not carried over to eBay successfully and our engineering team is currently looking into that. I will follow up with you through this case once we know more details and I recommend waiting until I get back with you with more information before using that option.

Please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions in the mean time.

Sincerely,
Auctiva Support
