Hello friends,

I have recently posted a listing and would love to change the layout of the listing without having to take the entire listing down.

I tried changing the HTML by copy pasting from the auctiva site and replacing it with the ebay HTML but they are completely different.

Is there a different way to get the correct HTML from auctiva?

Thank you in advance,

Wj

Hi Woojin,

Thanks for posting your question here. It is possible to change the layout of a listing that was created through Auctiva after it is active on eBay, but doing so does require making the revision within your Auctiva account and then transferring those changes to the active listing using the eBay "Revise your Item" form.

In order to revise one of your listings in this manner, you will first need to make the desired change in the saved listing within your Auctiva account from which you posted the item and click the "Save" button. Once you have done so, you can transfer those changes to the active eBay listing via the following process:

1) Click the "<HTML> icon to the right of the item on your "Saved Listings" page
2) Select All and copy the html in the popup window.
3) Locate the item on eBay and click the "Revise Item" button.
4) Scroll down to the "Description" section and then click the "HTML" tab above the description editor.
5) Delete the existing description HTML, paste the copied HTML in its place, and save your changes.

I hope this helps. If you need any further assistance with your account, please feel free to contact our customer support team by mousing over the "Help" tab within your account and selecting the "File Support Case" option.
