I thought that this would be a great thing, but I'm confused and discouraged and I just want to go back and use the forms that I know how to use on eBay. How do I unsubscribe to auctiva? Since I signed up my regular listings that I put up on eBay don't have any cross promo and I simply cannot figure out how this thing works fast enough to get any listing done. Please tell me how to get out of it. thank you

Wow, I thought my timing was bad! LOL... dogstar please don't be discouraged, you came in here on a bad day. They just moved servers today and I'm sure everything will work out just fine. As far as I can tell, all is well. All of my pictures are back, and I can list just fine. Yes, earlier there were blank pages, run time errors and more bumps in the road, but now it's smooth sailing (at least from what I can see). Good luck!
I cannot see that moving servers should cause a 36 hour shutdown as was my case. Auctiva has promoted itself in such a way as to encourage Ebay users to use Auctiva's service as an alternative to Ebay. Allowing the servers to go down for such a long period (any period actually) I feel is unnacceptable. It will be a long time (if ever) I feel I can allow Auciva to handle my Ebay matters other than the basic service of listing all of my Ebay listings.
Give it another day before you leave. Don't let the horrible attitudes on these message boards discourage you.

The Auctiva listing is a bit tricky to figure out at first, but after you've done a few - you will see how great they are. You can set up profiles which will fill in information automatically, which saves me a ton of time.

As far as the cross-promos, I set up default rules on cross-promos in My eBay. Now all my auctions are listed through Auctiva, and they are all cross-promoted. If you need any more help with setting that up, I'd be happy to give you a hand.

Auctiva is an incredible service. Since I signed on, my sales have nearly doubled. I was more than happy to take a day "off" while they moved the servers. At the end of the week, I'm still further ahead than I would be without Auctiva.
dogstar932,

If you do decide to cancel your Auctiva service, you can do so at Auctiva -> My Account(tab) -> Cancel. Once you have cancelled your account, the store window will no longer be appended to your newly created listings.

To remove the store window from your active listings you must delete the store window html from the html description using eBay's "Revise Item" form. The html description can be found at Auctiva -> Store -> Store Window -> Store Window HTML. The store window html lies between ASW tags.

However, we hope you reconsider because the experience you have had of late is not indicative of the standard service Autiva provides.

Thanks everybody - I'm still here slogging through and my listings still look cruddy, but I guess I'm just too stubborn to give up. I paid $$ to have my computer upgraded so I can run all this cool stuff and by golly I'm going to figure it out. Thanks for the warnings about the attitudes, but don't worry - long time Answer Center person here - almost 'tude impervious at this point Smile
I've read all of the belly aching about the move and am curious...what did y'all use before Auctiva came along? If I remember correctly, Ebay also has a mechanism for listing items or did you forget?
This probably won't be the last upgrade they go thru so you whiners should come up with a backup plan so that you don't have to shut down.
Ebay sucked up all my profits with their fees. That's why I came here. The image hosting is great and easy to use. Free templates and free scheduling. And I don't have to know html. I won't go back to listing directly from Ebay. GO AUCTIVA!!

Besides, people were just venting. If you read current boards, everyone has been singing praises pretty much. Smile
