Wondered if anyone can help I cannot remember how to get my pictures from my camera to auctiva.
Please help anyone.

First you have to transfer the pictures from your camera to your computer's hard drive. Once you've done that, log into your Auctiva account and click on the Images tab. Then click Upload Images, and choose which uploader you want to use. For simplicity's sake, let's say use the the Basic HTML Uploader. Once it opens up, click one of the Browse buttons, navigate to the file where you put your pictures, find the one you want and click Open. Repeat if you have more than one picture to upload. When you're done click the Upload button.
Of course, if you're uploading a lot of pictures, I'd recommend using the Drag & Drop uploader for Internet Explorer.

hi be gentle with me im new.have spent 5 days now trying to do this having read most of the help forums and still cant load pics.i have downloaded the latest internet explorer 7 and the activex,have made a folder for my images to go into,and disabled pop up blocker,I click in the box to activate, then nothing.so i right click my mouse to bring up my pics on my pc., then when i drag and drop pics they disappear and dont upload to auctiva,NOTHING HAPPENS AT ALL.what am i doing wrong,i read how good auctiva is but i can see me heading back to the turbo lister as this is all too slow and too much of a headache,HELP NEEDED PLEASE in simple terms if poss,ta.

I am no computer wiz, but I load my images while working on the listing. Have you tried loading your pictures from the image screen within the listing? If you click on the image box you will get your picture file and you will see a box marked upload. Click on that and then you will see a brouse box. That will open your computer files. Locate the file, click open. Go to the next brouse box and repeat the process with the next picture. When done click on upload and they will transfer to your listing. This method is time consuming if you are loading a lot of pictures, but it has always worked for me.

hi lynn,thanx for the tip i did eventually manage to load some pics by a similar method to yours i.e clicking on the 'view box' then 'open' then 'my documents'.then 'my pics' then each individual pic ONE AT A TIME having to re open my pics and scroll down to each pic every time, this IS very time consuming and i haven't even started to list yet, who knows how long that will take.Does anyone know if the drag and drop EVER works as i'm sure that could speed things up. one of the tips says to use folders, well my pics ARE in folders but wont load as a folder, can only load pics individualy and not the full folder as suggested. I suppose if just listing a few items its bearable but i want to store quite a lot of individual items. also spent 2 days trying to work out how to make profiles, i.e postage, returns etc, finally thought i'd mastered that one, saved them as master profile and did a trial listing just to see how it looked, but the profiles didnt load onto the listing, neither did the postage, it just said 'see listing for shipping detail' and the postage amount was at the end of the listing. I have done the tutorial 4 times now but still none the wiser. is it just me??
