How do I list using HTML?

I tried to do a listing yesterday.
I went to ebay, and copied the html from the description section of one of my listings.

I pasted it into the description space on the Auctiva lister, but when I previewed the listing, all I saw was the html source.

So what's the secret?

Also, when uploading a picture for this listing, it kept saying it was uploaded, but it would never show up in the listing or in my images section.

Ok, I got those things to work, but now when I listed something, it posted the picture twice, and put the scroll thingy at the top.

Arrggghh!
