How do I list with yahoo

I was under the impression that Auctiva is only compatible with Ebay???? (If I understand your question correctly) I think you should go to 'help' and ask support directly.

Are you grabbing the html only from your Auctiva auction?

Go to Listings>
Saved Listings>
Check a saved listing>
Click on Get HTML>
Pop up window will open with the html.

Control A will grab the complete html, Copy the html (control c) and then paste (control v) into the Yahoo Auction.

This will grab all the html. You might need to alter some of the text that you have for eBay out of the html...you might not.

I've been having luck selling on Yahoo's. I won't be buying a yacht, but still having some success. Also consider opening a free ecrater store. No listing fee's, no fvf, and if you use Google checkout (which I use with my yahoo auctions) then you'll be selling without transaction fee's.

OK now I need some help. What I was trying was if an auction did not sell on ebay I would go into my auction files on auctiva open the auction then on the tool bar click tools then convert auction to yahoo. but it does not post. I am lost at what you are telling me to do could you please walk me through it step by step.

there is no way to convert the auction to yahoo auctions.

It's not going to post because Auctiva is approved as third party software for eBay and is not compatible with automatic upload to Yahoo.

You will have to do this manually in the steps above.

When you're on listings..do not OPEN the auction. Just put a check mark beside the auction you're wanting to put on Yahoo.

Then there will be a command that states get html..click that. Sometimes pop up blockers will block the window from opening with the html..if this happens then you'll need to change your pop up blocker controls.

Copy all of the html, then paste into the Yahoo auction. Proceed to finish the auction then with Yahoo.
