How do I NOT specify a shipping amount in my listing?

I want to charge actual shipping to the buyer and let them know what it is after they win. Is there a way to do that through Auctiva? I keep leaving the cost blank and it will not post, gives me an error message to go back an fill this in. HELP!

Hi Emmasmom21,
If i am not mistaken ebay has changed the shipping rule, you now have to enter a flat rate shipping price or use the shipping calculator in your listings.

That is correct. Ebay wants the buyer to know how much the shipping will be before they bid. If you want to charge actual costs, then the shipping calculator is the way to go.

eBay no longer allows listings to be posted without shipping stated. Use the calculator and your customers will be charged the correct amount.
