How do I remove the auctiva scrolling bar

I reposted an older auction and editted the html so the auctiva code isn't in there and after posting, the auctiva data came back in the listing.

I am relisting from ebay and not from Auctiva, by the way.

I revised the listing again and took out the special scrolling banner.

Well, the auction ended and then I relisted that auction (again through ebay and not auctiva) and the auctiva banner still showed up. Why does it keep doing this?

How do I remove that code for good?

MyAccount-->Preferences-->Account settings-->Append Auctiva Scrolling Gallery to my listings
=NO

Having this setting set to default YES is the reason new users here are 'losing' their items on eBay, when you sign up, auctiva revises your listings to include the scrolling gallery.
